Lady Dogs fall to Libby in conference opener

The Lady Dogs couldn’t get ahead of Libby in their conference opener.

Whitefish snuck a third-set win but fell 3-1 on Saturday to the Loggers, 25-18, 25-13, 23-25, 25-15.

Marlee Bender protected the net with five blocks while Kaiah Moore notched 12 kills.

This week Whitefish got back at it against Polson at home on Tuesday after presstime.

They’ll have a week off before getting another crack at Libby the following week.
