WHS Fall sports

Fall sports start this week at Whitefish High School.

Football players will have a player meeting Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 3:30 p.m. in the cardio room at WHS. Lockers and gear will be issued. The first practice is on Friday, Aug. 10 at 7:30 a.m., and players will meet in the boys locker room.

Cheerleaders will have their first meeting on Thursday, Aug. 9 at noon in the cardio room at WHS.

Volleyball players will have their parent and player meeting and potluck Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. Meet at the sand volleyball court by the Stumptown Ice Den Park. The first practice will be Friday at 8 a.m. in the WHS gym.

The cross country team will be off and running at 8 a.m. on Friday at the WHS track. All students in grades nine through 12 are welcome to participate.

Golf begins Friday at 3 p.m. at the driving range at Whitefish Lake Golf Club.

Boys soccer begins Friday, Aug. 10 at 7:30 a.m. at Smith Fields, while the girls will start at 8 a.m. Bring soccer gear and water bottle.

All students must have a physical, an activities consent/release form, a concussion form and an impact test with the athletic trainer on file prior to practice. Paperwork can be picked up from coaches or at the Whitefish School District Office.
