The Whitefish girls basketball team is preparing for an early season showdown against Eureka at home.

Practice began Nov. 16 for the Lady Dogs, who are looking for a better result than last year’s 1-20 season.

Seniors on this team are returning starter Annisa Brown and Baileigh Krause. Brown and junior Marlee Bender are the team’s captains.

The Lady Dogs will host Eureka on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Whitefish High School.

Later in the week they’ll head down to Missoula to take on Butte Central and Dillon in the Tipoff Tournament.
