Ski foundation now Podium Certified Club

Print Article

The Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation is excited to announce it has been awarded Podium Club Certification at the Bronze level by the U.S. Ski and Snowboard’s Podium Club Certification Program. This achievement has been in the works for two years, and validates FVSEF as one of only two Podium Certified Ski Clubs in Montana. The program requires a rigorous, mission driven self-assessment and review of best principles and practices in eight areas of organizational performance.

This certification gives FVSEF access to USSA clubs all over the nation to share in club development, what works and ultimately how to achieve the goals of the club and the goals of the athletes. This certification program is a valuable resource for FVSEF to be the best we can be and provide a great experience in skiing. We are thrilled we are a part of this program and will continue to work towards excellence with our staff and athletes.

This column is sponsored by the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation and the Ski Heritage Center Museum of Skiing. Over the coming months it will feature news items about skiing today, as well as fascinating stories about the rich and colorful history of skiing in the Flathead Valley.
