WTC celebrates anniversary with season launch party

The Whitefish Theatre Company is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a sensational line-up for the 2018-2019 season.

To kick off 40 years of producing and presenting great theatre, music, and special events, WTC invites is holding a “40 & Fabulous” season launch party on Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish.

The 40 & Fabulous party will include complimentary food, drinks, and dancing. Party goers can learn about the 15 shows in their upcoming season, purchase season or show tickets, and sign up to volunteer for various theatre activities.

WTC will also be presenting their Volunteer of the Year award at the event, as well as presenting a special tribute to Lonnie Porro, long-time costumer who retired this past year. Attendees are asked to bring a written memory about their experiences with WTC to put in a newly-created time capsule that will be opened at the 50th anniversary.

The Whitefish Theatre Company is a nonprofit, community-based performing arts organization. The mission of WTC is to initiate, develop and nurture the diverse passions of the community through the production and presentation of outstanding performing arts programs and projects.
