Vote for Tornow

Print Article

Nov. 7, Election Day, seems a long way off and indeed it is. But as a gal in her late 70s I wanted to write this endorsement before I forget.

I am supporting Tom Tornow to become your Whitefish Municipal Judge.

Firstly, a big thank you to retiring Whitefish judge, Brad Johnson for his many years of service to this community.

Service. That is exactly what Tom Tornow stands for. Tom has been an attorney for 37 years. For 26 years Tom has been serving Whitefish wearing many hats: chairman of the Whitefish Planning Board, chairman of the Affordable Housing Task Force, board member and secretary of the Whitefish dog park.

Tom Tornow has lived a life of service and now he wants to serve you as your Whitefish Municipal Judge. When Judge Johnson had to be absent, or if he had a conflict of interest, he chose Tom to serve in his place. This makes him experienced in the job and he will, in his words, “hit the ground running.”

He is open to your questions and comments at tornowforwhitefish@gmail.com or at 406-862-7450.

Vote for Tom Tornow on Nov. 7.

Sandie Carpenter, Whitefish
